La Ventana has been my part-time home for almost 18 years.  I first traveled down  Mex 1 with a friend in 1994 on a windsurfing adventure.   In those days everyone camped out next to the old shrimp factory.  Today many of those people have built homes and come back every year to enjoy the windy season to kite and windsurf.  I enjoy kiteboarding, windsurfing and my new passion SUP (stand up paddle).  

I met my (now) husband Kirk at the campground 18 years ago while windsurfing.  We hit it off right away as we both loved to windsurf.  We've been coming down ever since, and own and operate Captain Kirk's Resort just north of the campground.    Check out our website at captainkirks.com for more information.  If you're in the neighborhood stop by for a visit.

My Business

My business was born when a guest of our's at Captain Kirk's asked me if I could help them find a piece of land.  I thought why not, I was a licensed real estate agent in Southern California.   We drove around looked at several properties and found the perfect one.  From that day on I have helped others locate a piece of paradise .  I now have neigbors asking me to help them sell properties as well.
